the short version

This app collects no data whatsoever.

There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no account, and no server. The app makes no network requests of any kind, so no information about you can leave your device — not to me, and not to anyone else.

what the app stores

The app stores exactly one thing: the birthday you enter on first launch, as a month, day, and year.

It is saved in the app's own local storage on your iPhone.
It is used for one purpose only — calculating the age figures shown on screen.
It is never transmitted, uploaded, synced to a server, or shared with any third party.
No one but you can see it, including me. I have no way to access it.

what the app does not do

No tracking or analytics

The app contains no analytics frameworks, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Your usage is not measured or recorded.

No accounts or personal details

There is no sign-in, no account creation, and no request for your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

No device permissions

The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, photos, health data, notifications, or any other sensitive resource.

No selling or sharing

Nothing is sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to anyone, for any purpose, because there is no collected data to sell or share.

deleting your data

Because your birthday lives only on your device, you control it completely. To remove it, delete the app: touch and hold the app icon on your Home Screen, choose Remove App, then Delete App. The saved birthday is removed along with it, and no copy exists anywhere else to clean up.

You can also change it at any time inside the app by tapping the round pencil button, which overwrites the previously saved value.

children

The app is safe for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, regardless of age. Because no data is collected or transmitted, no personal information from children is gathered, and no parental consent mechanism is necessary.

the app store

Downloads, purchases, and crash reports handled by Apple are collected by Apple independently of this app. That information is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one. I receive only the aggregate, anonymous sales and crash statistics that Apple provides to every developer, which cannot identify individual users.

changes and contact

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Because the app collects no data, any change would be to clarify wording rather than to expand what is gathered.
